BRE's Build4Quality conference on green homes

Registrations are open for the Build4Quality conference organised by BRE on 16 September 2015 at Altitude, Millbank Tower in London.

The topic of the event is "Sustainable, low-carbon, energy-efficient houses and developments can reduce fuel bills, increase comfort and command higher market prices. How can developers, architects and contractors ensure quality and performance while meeting demand for new homes?".

In detail, the conference will explore the market for 'green' homes, examining design issues and look how to improve supply chain skills to increase efficiency onsite and avoid the performance gap between designed and operational performance.

Network forum on Energy Efficiency for Manufacturers

On 30 July 2015, the Construction Product Association (CPA) will be holding a network forum on Energy Efficiency for Manufacturers at the Building Centre, in Central London.

Forum Wood Building Nordic 2015

The annual Forum Wood Building Nordic will take place in Växjö, Sweden, on the 24th-25th September 2015. The event, hosted by the Linnaeus University, is the main conference for wood building and timber construction in the Nordic countries and part of the international Forum Holzbau organization.

The 2015 edition's topic will be "Competition and competence: how can we reach a higher level?". Academics and practitioners are expected to exchange experiences and learn from the forefront in the field.
