BMF’s Budapest Conference 2017 sells out in record time
The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) All Industry Conference, to take place in Budapest in June 2017, has already sold out.
The theme of the Conference, “Change, Challenge and Opportunity”, struck a chord with both merchants and suppliers and all 450 delegate places were snapped up within ten weeks of launch.
The event has attracted 14% more merchant delegates compared to the last BMF All Industry Conference in 2015. A total of 72 merchant companies will attend alongside 60 supplier companies. The merchant delegates include 16 of the top 20 merchant companies and all four national merchant groups will attend the BMF All Industry Conference for the first time in 15 years.
BMF managing director, John Newcomb commented: “We believe this is the fastest that the Conference has ever sold out and reflects both the value it offers and the high esteem in which it is held by the industry. The Conference theme resonated with people post-Brexit. In uncertain times it is even more important for the industry to come together and this is undoubtedly the biggest event in the industry’s calendar for 2017.”
BMF chairman, Peter Hindle MBE added: “The Board was delighted to hear that our next Conference had sold out so quickly. This is testimony to the progress that the BMF has made over the last few years in delivering events and services that are valued by the industry.”
Details of the first speakers will be announced in September and regular updates will be published on the Conference website, www.bmfconference2017.co.uk.
